Hi Tom

The 50% mentioned in the press release and on the blog relates to new clients generated by our vendors as a percentage of total new clients acquired during the first quarter. It doesn’t relate to growth.

Later this month a press release detailing first quarter results will be circulated and it highlights vendor generated growth of 185% for new client registrations, 230% for Website license sales and 171% for revenue versus the same quarter last year.

Interestingly most of this growth is not from acquisitions but from our Private Label program. The program allows any person, company, or organization to offer single property Websites using our software but branded as their own product. With us managing all technical and operational responsibilities the program has been a huge success. We have also seen growth through our Affiliate Program – this program is open to anyone wanting to introduce AgencyLogic PowerSites to their clients or employees.

Current market conditions have additionally helped drive sales as homes need extensive, longer term online marketing, something a single property Website is ideal for.

We are always looking to expand our business through acquisitions but to date have only acquired 123MainStreet.com.

Funny that I've read in the news that Agency Logic is buying up all of their competition however they say they've had 50% growth! When reality is they actually just "bought" that 50% from other companies!

I love the community profiles features on CharlestonYourHome.com. I now plan to blog about a local neighborhood in my area once a week and then incorporate each profile into my website as I go.

For folks who are interested in adding community videos to their websites, I recommend TurnHere.com. You can enter the name of your city and pull up all of the neighbhorhood videos that have been made in your area. The vides are available for free and you can post them on your own site.

Words cannot express our excitement at being awarded the “Best Agent Website” by Allen Hainge and AgencyLogic. We’ve worked hard to design a site that stands out from the rest, and this honor has given us the encouragement that we are on the right track. With the advent of Web 2.0, and a host of wonderful tools that have been developed for real estate, we have exciting things planned in the near future for www.CharlestonYourHome.

Congratulations to all the other honorable mentions, and thank you again Allen, and everyone at AgencyLogic for the much appreciated words of praise.

Your really hit the nail on the head. I have seen many people think that they were going to save money using a discount Broker only to find out in the end that they walked away with a lot less than they could have gotten.

Great interview, Allyson!

It's especially important to have a good online presence when you have a high number of relocations, like we do in our area. They prefer to do much of their home shopping online, and the PowerSites add another layer to your online presence by providing information that's not easily presented in other formats.

Bravo! I am in my 33rd year of paying the NAR dues. They have always been a day late but a dollar ahead! They wasted millions on a worthless technology companythat went busted. Now they spending millions more on their less than state of the art technology. They like to put "old timers" at the helm of these companies instead of hiring those with the latest most forward thinking techno savvy! They should send the entire NAR Board to INMAN Connect in SF so they could get an idea of where the industry has been without them, and where it is going, without them!

Oh by the way...I love your product. Just sold a $800K listing of ours because of www.395birch.com! Thanks

Very good article. I agree with most of your comments.

As always we REALTORS have always been our worst enemy. We are a fragmented bunch unless someone else tells us we need to mobilize behind something that is usually 6 months or 2 years late. We made a big mistake with REALTOR.COM and I feel that NAR and most state associations are more interested in keeping the membership numbers up rather than "leading" us into the future.

Thanks,

For clients that haven't given you an email address yet, you can simply enter your own address and assign them an id and password.

This works good since a lot of the time you may not have an email yet...

Thanks for your question! We hope this will help clarify:

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a Web format used to publish frequently changing content, such as blogs, news feeds and in our case with PowerSites, properties on the market. Think of it as a real time list of links with an associated description. As the information changes (creating more PowerSites for example) the same RSS link always automatically has complete and accurate information.

We provide an RSS feed listing all your PowerSites. The description used in the RSS feeds is taken from the information you entered when you were creating the PowerSite. The link contained in the feed links to the home page of your PowerSite.

To enable your RSS feed in your PowerSites
Login to your account and look for the "Lighthouse Marketing" link under the "Tools" menu. Click the "RSS Feeds" tab and ensure the box next to "Display an RSS feed on my PowerSites footer" is checked. Click the "Save" button and you are done.

Looking forward to being in on the seminar. Will be relocating to Northern CA in the summer and looking for ways to get a quick jumpstart in a new market. Any ideas from other commentators much appreciated. - MAX

Please include me in your telecast. I'm always interested in broad based marketing of myself and my company. My company won the top award in real estate for its web-site for year 2006 in the United States. This award was presented at the Bentley International Property Awards in London in November. I sent the press release out world wide over the PR- News Wire following the event. I'm a small three office company and compete with many older and more developed companies in my area. I am always looking for new ideas to promote our business and it's agents!

Thanks so much for the great new developments! I'm excited to see the new products.

Being a member of the CyberStars, I was one of the first in our maket to use your Power Sites. I have SOLD houses with it! People have come into our listings and said that they were already "in love" with the property before seeing it! I have had wives come to see houses, saying that they husbands saw all of the photos on the power site and did not even need to see the house - and told their wives to check it out and write a contract on it.

At open houses, I hear people saying "see...we saw that on the internet slide show" - and on and on.

Tons of compliments from both buyers and sellers telling us we have the best presentation of houses through our photo slide shows (Power Sites). As you can gather.... I am a really big fan!

I have had a lot of comments about the BIG photo tours. the loading time is VERY long. We use a T-1 line and it is long. Customers on cable and DSL tell me the same thing. A few people still on dial up - have waited 10 and 15 minutes and finanlly just given up. Peggy

P.S. I just used one of my Power Sites for photos of my husband and my trip to South America. ( www.TravelWithChickAndPeggy.com ) This way I can share our photos with friends and family without going to one of those sites on the net that tries to sell you photo prints. When I took 5-600 pix, it was not hard to come up with 100 for the slide show. (I do think 100 is a bit much for a house - even a big house - but it is great to have anyway.)
